Brass accents might naturally change color, avoid storing brass and gold-plated jewelry in the bathroom or humid environments. Humidity is very bad for metals and will cause them to tarnish. Keeping the earrings away from sunlight or warmer temperatures will ensure the clay stays true to form and from changing color! I recommend a jewelry box or a small zipped baggie! :)
